How StockX seller fees work
StockX takes two percentages of the sale price on Verified sales: a transaction fee that falls as your seller level rises, and a flat 3% payment processing fee. Shipping to StockX is on a label StockX provides; the buyer pays their own shipping. The sale price is what the buyer bid or paid, before the buyer’s fees.
| Seller level | Transaction fee | Reached by (per calendar quarter) |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | 9% | default |
| Level 2 | 8.5% | 12 sales or $1,500 |
| Level 3 | 8% | 40 sales or $5,000 |
| Level 4 | 7.5% | 200 sales or $25,000 |
| Level 5 | 7% | 800 sales or $100,000 |
Worked example
A pair sells for $320 to a Level 3 seller in the US paid out by PayPal. Transaction fee 8% of $320 = $25.60; processing 3% = $9.60; payout $284.80. The same sale at Level 1 nets $281.60; at Level 5, $288.00. A $40 sale at Level 1 would owe only $3.60 in transaction fee, so the $5.00 US minimum applies instead.
Not included
- Penalties: $15 for late or non-shipment, and per-sale penalties for Level 3–5 sellers who fail to ship 5% or more of orders in a month.

- Flex and Store-at-StockX storage fees.
